About the Event The Assembly of First Nations (AFN) Annual General Assembly (AGA)
Register NowThe Assembly of First Nations (AFN) Annual General Assembly (AGA) will be held in-person only on July 9–11, 2024 at the Palais des Congrès, on the traditional territory of the Kanien’kehá:ka Nation, in Montreal, Quebec (QC). Dialogue sessions will be conducted on July 8, 2024. The theme of the 2024 AFN AGA is “Strengthening Our Relations.”
The AGA will be held at the Palais des Congrès located at 159, rue Saint-Antoine Ouest, Montréal, QC, H2Z 1H2.

Registration
Pre-registration Bonus
All Assembly delegates who participate in pre-registration on or before Monday, July 8, 2024, will be entered into a pre-registration bonus draw.

Where does your registration fee go?
Registration fees help to offset the direct costs of organizing Chiefs Assemblies, including facility rentals, audio/visual equipment, interpretation services, webcasting, registration services, facilitators, translation, signage, Elder honorarium, and drum groups.
Registration Process
Photo identification will be requested at registration for Chiefs/Proxies and students.
All participants and groups are encouraged to pre-register and pre-pay, even if your registration is complimentary. There will be separate line-ups at the event for those who pre-register and pre-pay in advance of the Assembly.
- Register ONLINE. You will receive a confirmation email once registered. VISA, MasterCard and American Express accepted.
- Complete the registration form included in this notice and FAX it to Tash Cote at 613-241-5808 or by email to [email protected].
Registration forms and payment must be received before entry into the Assembly. You may also register on-site with your payment.
You may also register and pay on-site. Please note that registration fees are non-refundable after June 28, 2024. An administration fee of $50 will apply for all cancellations prior to June 28, 2024.
Pre-registration will be held on Monday, July 8, 2024, from 12:00pm – 6:00pm at the Palais des Congrès. To avoid line-ups, all delegates are encouraged to pick up badges at this time.

The Assembly of First Nations (AFN) Circle of Trade will be taking place during the AFN Annual General Assembly (AGA), on July 9-11, 2024, at the Palais des congrès de Montreal (Montreal Convention Centre).
