AFN National Chief Cindy Woodhouse Nepinak and AFN Regional Chief Willie Moore Congratulate Grand Chief Garrison Settee on His Election

(August 29, 2024 – Unceded Algonquin Territory, Ottawa, Ontario) — The Assembly of First Nations (AFN) National Chief Cindy Woodhouse Nepinak is extending congratulations to Garrison Settee on his re-election as Grand Chief of Manitoba Keewatinowi Okimakanak (MKO).

“On behalf of the AFN, I extend a heartfelt congratulations to Grand Chief Garrison Settee on his re-election to lead the MKO. As he enters his third term, Grand Chief Settee continues to be a dedicated leader and advocate, working tirelessly to advance Manitoba First Nations priorities for future generations,” said AFN National Chief Cindy Woodhouse Nepinak.

AFN Regional Chief Willie Moore added, “Congratulations Grand Chief Garrison Settee on your re-election. I look forward to continuing our important work together and building on our shared goals toward improving the lives of First Nations children and families in Manitoba.”
