National Chief Cindy Woodhouse Nepinak Testifies to House Standing Committee on Transport, Infrastructure and Communities on Bill C-5

(June 17, 2025 – Unceded Algonquin Territory, Ottawa) –National Chief Cindy Woodhouse Nepinak will testify today to the House Standing Committee on Transport, Infrastructure and Communities on Bill C-5, the One Canadian Economy Act. National Chief Woodhouse Nepinak will bring forward First Nations concerns over the Building Canada Act and its implications for First Nations Inherent, Treaty and Constitutional rights.
