About the Event Special Chiefs Assembly
The Assembly of First Nations (AFN) Special Chiefs Assembly (SCA) will be held on December 8-10, 2026, at the Rogers Centre in Ottawa which is located on Algonquin Territory, the unceded unsurrendered Anishinabe territory of the Algonquin Anishinabe Peoples.
The Rogers Centre is located at 55 Colonel By Drive, Ottawa, Ontario, K1N 9J2.

Registration Information

Where does your registration fee go?
Registration fees help to offset the direct costs of holding Chiefs Assemblies, including facility rentals, audio/visual equipment, interpretation services, webcasting, registration services, facilitators, translation, signage, Elder honoraria, and drum groups.
Registration Process
Photo identification will be requested at registration for Chief/Proxies and students.
All participants and groups are encouraged to pre-register and pre-pay, even if your registration is complimentary. To enter the Assembly, full registration and payment are required. On-site registration and payment are available.

Express Line Access
Pre-paid/pre-registered participants will have access to the Express Line for badge pick up at the event.
Badge pick-up and on-site registration
Monday, December 7 from 12:00pm– 6:00pm at the Rogers Centre, Level 3. To avoid line-ups, all delegates are encouraged to pick up badges at this time.
