(Ottawa, ON) – The Assembly of First Nations (AFN) National Chief Cindy Woodhouse Nepinak will host a press conference at Parliament Hill on Tuesday, September 16, 2025, to discuss the new session of Parliament, including the AFN’s agenda set out in its Pre-Budget Submission, the Major Projects Office and Bill C-5, First Nations child welfare and drinking water legislation.

LOCATION: Room 135-B, West Block, Parliament Hill, Ottawa, ON
Speakers will include the National Chief as well as other AFN Regional Chiefs.
