(August 13, 2025) – National Chief Cindy Woodhouse Nepinak will hold a press conference to announce an update in the $23 billion federal settlement for those affected by discrimination in the First Nations Child and Family Services (FNCFS) program and Jordan’s Principle. National Chief Woodhouse Nepinak will provide an update on number of claims received to date by Administrator Deloitte Canada, as well as an update on compensation delivery to claimants.
