Assembly of First Nations (AFN) Hosts National Virtual Forum on the Amended Bill C-5, One Canadian Economy

(July 9, 2025 – Unceded Algonquin Territory, Ottawa) – The Assembly of First Nations will host a National Virtual Forum to bring together First Nations leaders for continued dialogue on the federal government’s amended Bill C-5, An Act to enact the Free Trade and Labour Mobility in Canada Act and the Building Canada Act (One Canadian Economy).

Date:              Thursday, July 10, 2025
Time:              12:00 PM ET – 3:00 PM ET
Location:      Virtual by Zoom.

The event is closed to media. National Chief Cindy Woodhouse Nepinak will be available for interviews after the National Virtual Forum. A recording of the Forum will be released online shortly following the event.
