Assembly of First Nations (AFN) to Hold Press Conference Calling for National Inquiry into Systemic Racism in Policing

(December 4, 2024 – Unceded Algonquin Territory, Ottawa, Ontario) — On Wednesday, December 4, 2024, the Assembly of First Nations (AFN) will hold a press conference to call for a National Inquiry into Systemic Racism in Policing. Speakers will include AFN National Chief Cindy Woodhouse Nepinak, Regional Chief Terry Teegee, Regional Chief Ghislain Picard, and Anishinabek Nation Grand Council Chief Linda Debassige.
